A lot of the rules boil down to being a good neighbour and respecting the property. The rules require residents not to interfere with their neighbours' peaceful enjoyment of Atlas Quarter.
Please keep noise to a reasonable level. If you're hosting a party, please keep it respectful. Let your neighbours know what to expect and how they can contact you, for example by posting in the Facebook group.
If you need to put laundry on your balcony:
Please keep your laundry out of view and below the level of the balcony railings.
Please don't drape anything over the balcony railings.
Clothes drying racks may be okay as long as they are out of sight.
Clothes lines are not allowed.
If your laundry is too visible, PBCS may receive a complaint and ask you to remove it.
If you would like a pet, please view the pets page.
It is a legal requirement that tenants have a copy of the Atlas Quarter Body Corporate Rules and are familiar with them.
You must inform PBCS if you are renting out to tenants or as an AirBnB. If you are an owner-occupier, you must inform PBCS if you are away for more than three months. These are necessary requirements for insurance cover.
Approval of any exterior changes/additions to balconies must be sought from the Body Corporate. Some internal changes (such as flooring) may also require permission. Please contact PBCS for details. Unapproved alterations may affect insurance cover and impact the whole of the Body Corporate.
You can view the full rules below or in the PBCS owners portal.
